Abstract

The main focus of this paper is to study the contribution and influence of library associations' scholarly communication through their respective websites.Scholarly publication plays a significant role in promotion, scholarly recognition, development, certification at different associations as well as institutions. This study presents how the library associations' publications give support to scholarly
communication. The study analyses the websites of the associations thoroughly to reveal the role of the publications to enrich scholarly communication in the field of Library and Information Science. It also gives stress to having own and well-maintained websites incorporating open access full-text scholarly resources for enriching scholarly communication. Thus this study has created a
value addition in the role of library associations.
